Orange Cranberry Kush Sauce

Yields: about 1 ¼ cup sauce

Prep Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

• 2 cups fresh cranberries

• 8 oz Simply Orange juice

• 1 cup sugar

• 1-gram Full Extract Cannabis Oil (FECO)*

• 3 drops Cranberry Kush by True Terpenes

Need:

• Blender

• Fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth

Directions:

1. On medium heat, cook cranberries, orange juice and sugar in pot on stove top for 30 minutes, stirring frequently and mashing cranberries as it cooks.

2. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Stir in cannabis oil.

3. Carefully pour into blender.

4. Place towel over blender lid to prevent steam burns as you hold the lid tight to blend until smooth. Carefully remove one corner of lid to release steam as needed.

5. Once blended smooth, strain through fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth lined larger hole strainer into a heat proof bowl.

6. Allow to cool to room temperature before adding 3 drops of Cranberry Kush terpenes.

Serve warm or chilled.

Use to flavor beverages, add decorative element to plates, cookies, cakes and more!

*1-gram FECO at 75% THC would equal approximately 12.5mg THC per teaspoon of sauce. I love Siskiyou Sungrown products, if I am not making my own.

**Cannabis infusion substitutes in place of FECO:

1. a tablespoon of cannabis butter or other cooking oil emulsified into sauce at end (dosing is dependent on strength of butter/oil)

2. your favorite tincture emulsified into sauce at end (dosing is dependent on product used + amount you add; I wouldn’t add much more than a tablespoon to prevent possible separation concerns)
